  1. Is there anyway for the public to know whether blue slips have been returned by home state senators? Is there a count of nominees awaiting hearings, but are stalled pending blue slips?

    1. There is limited public information about that. The Alliance for Justice does have a list similar to that (accessible here: https://www.afj.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Pending-Nominees-5.3.20.pdf), but it isn't updated frequently. I keep track of that information the best I can as well, but I don't post it online due to having next to no published sources to cite. But if there's a particular nominee you're curious about, I might have the answer for you.
